When it comes to an education related to the automotive industry, the significance of accreditation must not be understated. For an automotive education, accredited status shows that the program met or exceeded the standards of the automotive industry. This show the importance and reliability of the education, in addition to its significance to employment in an automotive profession.

The primary organization that recommends automotive programs for National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification is the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF). The NATEF evaluates automotive technician training programs and continuing automotive education programs to make sure they meet the standards created by the automotive industry.
